Site archéologique Saint-Antoine

The Site archéologique Saint-Antoine (SaSA) is located on the Esplanade Théodelinde, in the heart of Geneva’s Old Town. It preserves archaeological remains uncovered by the Archaeological Service of the City of Geneva between 2012 and 2015, revealing over two thousand years of the city’s history. The remains span three major periods – Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Modern Era – and trace the city’s urban, religious and defensive evolution. Bringing past and present into continuous dialogue,
SaSA combines research, public engagement and contemporary art. Through ongoing collaborations with museums and cultural institutions across the region, it creates connections across periods, disciplines and places.
