First editions, rare illustrated books and bindings of the XXth Century
Founded in 1987, the Librairie L’Exemplaire is now located in the heart of the historical Geneva, 2 rue Jean Calvin, and runned by Catherine Tabatabay-Schmitt and Eliott Cardet.
Bibliophiles will discover a rigorous choice of first editions, some of them illustrated by prominent artists as well as important bindings created by the most skilful masters of the XXth century.
Besides books, a large choice of engravings, lithographies and photographies are displayed for the amateurs.
Member of the ILAB, L’Exemplaire is present at the New York International Book Fair and at the Salon International du Livre Rare, Paris.
Catalogues are published twice a year and sent on request.
