KURT SELIGMANN
Prints

In the context of the centenary of the first publication of André Breton's Surrealist Manifesto, we are pleased to propose you a selection of engravings by the Basel artist Kurt Seligmann (1900-1962).

He become a member of the Movement in 1934, he participated in major pre-war exhibitions and illustrated numerous surrealist texts, such as Métiers des hommes by Pierre Courthion in 1936.

All of the engravings we present come directly from the collection of the art critic and are, for the most part, test prints of the most emblematic works of Kurt Seligmann.
