ICE BLUE
Priska Jacobs

Priska Jacobs is a Swiss artist whose work (glass art and photography) focuses on glaciers and lakes. Born near the mountains, she developed an interest in high mountains, glaciers, and underwater life during the ice melt period at an early age.

During her alpine expeditions, Priska captures images of life beneath the still-frozen surface with her camera, revealing a blue, poetic, and luminous universe. Back in her studio, these photographs inspire her unique glass works, which require several passes through her kiln.

Glass, with its unique ability to play with interior space, allows her to convey the depth and magic of alpine waters. ICE BLUE is an opportunity to discover these glass and photographic works. Press release: Opening of a state-of-the-art scanning center to access the heart of works of art.
