The Barbier-Mueller Museum proposes a new thematic guided tour: Evocation of initiation through objects from Africa and Oceania.
During this visit, the focus will be on certain objects in particular that evoke or participate in initiation rites in Africa and Oceania.
Emphasis will be placed on the contextualization of these artifacts in the socialized cycles of a child's life that lead to adulthood.
