DYSTOPIX
Cédric Delsaux

The Dystopix exhibition features previously unseen photographs by Cédric Delsaux.
The images no longer reveal our world; they erase it. Dystopix was born from the suspicion that this threshold has already been crossed. When everything is reduced to pixels, humans eventually disappear. They have been replaced by their mechanical doubles, which reenact the same wars, the same celebrations, and obey the same hierarchies.
To the point where we no longer know whether Dystopix is a narrative of the future, a deviation from the present, or the revelation of a forgotten past.
For more than twenty years, Cédric Delsaux has been observing the world through the figure of the droid borrowed from Star Wars. Both a double of humanity and a sign of its disappearance, this character allows him to explore how political, technological, and religious systems shape individuals.
