L’Exemplaire is pleased to present, on the occasion of this exhibition, the complete series of Antoni Tàpies’ “Variations on a Musical Theme,” consisting of twenty lithographs.
Created in 1987 and published by Galerie Lelong, this series reflects Tàpies’ fascination with the dialogue between the arts. Music, a constant presence in his work, serves here as a starting point for a visual exploration in which each variation develops its own rhythm, texture, and language.
Presented in its entirety, this series of twenty lithographs offers a rare and immersive perspective on the artist’s work.
