Apocalypses. What did you see in Hiroshima?
with Nicolas Crispini

Guided tour of the exhibition Apocalypses. What did you see in Hiroshima? by Nicolas Crispini, exhibition curator
September 18, 2025, at 6 p.m.

The MIR invites you to an exceptional tour of the exhibition in the company of its curator, Geneva-based artist and photographer Nicolas Crispini. Through this guided tour, he will reveal the behind-the-scenes of his research, his artistic intentions, and the reflections that fueled this exploration of the memory of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 80 years after the bombings.

From room to room, he will accompany you to discover the photographic installations, the moving testimonies of survivors, the sound archives, and the rare objects that make up this exhibition. Nicolas Crispini will shed his personal light on the themes of nuclear apocalypse and collective trauma, as well as on the sometimes absurd cultural representations of the atomic bomb in Western society.

Between memory, art, and politics, this guided tour is a unique opportunity to question our relationship with nuclear danger and to measure, with him, the extent of what humanity seems unwilling to face.

Tour by registration with a maximum capacity of 20 people.
