Illibrairie

Books from the 15th to the 21st century

Located at 20 Grand'Rue, the bookstore was born at the end of the 1940s, founded by Raymond Illi, and has had several locations: rue de Coutance, Grand'Rue, rue de l'Arquebuse, and since 1995, once again at Grand'Rue.

Since 1989, Alexandre Illi has been working on the printed word. This is how the bookshop became a meeting place for all history, literature and fine arts enthusiasts.

In addition to books, it is also possible to discover autographs and manuscripts, photos and sometimes drawings.

Alexandre Illi is a member of the Syndicat de la Librairie Ancienne et du Commerce d'Estampes en Suisse (SLACES) and of the Ligue Internationale de la Librairie Ancienne (LILA) whose motto is Amor Librorum Nos Unit.
The bookshop exhibits annually at the Antiquarian Book Fair in Zurich, Paris and New York.
