Arts from the 20th and 21th centuries
In September 2000, Patrick Gutknecht opened his gallery in the heart of Geneva’s old town, specializing in 20th-century art and antique canes.
His passion for art takes over this two-hundred square-meter space, where furniture, lamps, art objects, paintings and photographs from the 1920s and 1930s sit alongside neoclassical works from the 1940s, as well as pieces dating from the post-war period, and from the 1960s to today.
The collection includes works signed by famous artists, as well as anonymous works that captured the eye of the gallerist. Art enthusiasts and collectors will also find an impressive selection of decorative and system canes dating from the 16th century to the 1930s. Patrick Gutknecht is also the agent for Odegard rugs and Willy Rizzo creations, for Switzerland.
