Cabinet of Wonders
The Galerie Grand-Rue invites you to discover a surprising collection of works on paper. Rare pieces are displayed, such as a gouache by Christian Gottlob Geissler (1729-1814) of the “Ponts de l’Isle” in Geneva, dated c. 1800.
A remarkable series of engravings by Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778) transports you into his mysterious world and a small while a delicate caricature by Rodolphe Töpffer (1799-1846) representing a man talking to his parrot won’t fail to make you smile.
The exhibition runs until the 23rd of December 2015.
