Galerie Grand-Rue

Watercolours, gouaches, prints and drawings from the 18th and 19th centuries

Founded fifty years ago and under the direction of Marie-Laure Rondeau since 1988, the Galerie Grand-Rue specialises in works on paper from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Marie-Laure Rondeau has developed an expertise around the Swiss, British, French and Italian artists of the Grand Tour, including ALR Ducros, Salomon Corrodi, Franz Kaiserman, Amadeo Preziosi, Edward Lear, David Roberts and Saverio della Gatta – as well as Neapolitan gouaches.

Swiss landscapes, particularly of Geneva and the Alps, are another focus area of the gallery, which regularly presents engravings, watercolours and gouaches by the Swiss masters in this field.
