ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

Opera Gallery is pleased to present On the Bright Side, a group exhibition featuring fifteen pieces by artists from different backgrounds, eras and styles, but all with one thing in common: their ability to make us smile.
From the whimsical and colorful works of Niki de Saint Phalle to the cartoon characters of Kenny Scharf or Kaws, from the dynamism and effervescence of A.R. Penck's matchstick figures to the vivid messages of Mel Bochner or Tracey Emin: all of these works create a much needed positive atmosphere.
Works by Jean Dubuffet, Fred Eeerdekens, Julian Opie and Sam Francis will also be presented.
