... I invite the viewer to immerse himself in the floral dimension of Daniel Orson Ybarra's works, as if strolling through the pictorial artefax of the Garden of Eden, the emblematic place of all living creation. To illustrate this metaphor, I'd like to borrow from Japanese culture the notion of "Hanami", the name given to an ancestral custom of going to parks to admire the spring blossoms, particularly the cherry blossoms. Watch the blossoms bloom and celebrate the eternal return of life: luminous, beautiful, ephemeral.
