Alexia Turlin's pictorial interventions question us about the climate change in progress - where all natural phenomena seem to be activated and accelerated into an upheaval due to the unreasonable activity of the human species, which is increasing without any conceivable return.
Alexia recurrently paints this rocky disintegration, this collapsing mass - not brutally, but continuously, softly, sinuously, like a mountain crying out for its former appearance: frozen, unshakeable and monolithic - before global warming, before the melting of the glaciers.
